On the tram and light rail tracks there are two in many ways confronted professions overlapping each other  - civil engineering and mechanical engineering. That peculiarity is also reflected on design and there is no wonder that the companies seriously involved in tram and light rail track construction are very rare. 

We at PKS – are one of those rare companies and we have a long-term experience in all phases of the track design – from the idea to the construction. Our specialties are working and detailed projects for every form of tram and light rail track. Our projects have been realized in many towns on over 50 kilometers in length and all that to our satisfaction as well as the satisfaction of our clients.

Since today there is no serious track design without the help of the computer we also use the whole variety of computer tools in our design work. Besides common "Office" tools, the most important in our work are "CAD" tools – AutoCad, 3DMax, Maya, Bryce and, when necessary, Corel type design tools. With regard to the aforementioned special requirements in track design we also make our own applications in LISP and VB programming languages.
