ECC ®
If you have special demands for noise and vibration reduction, if your annual load on the rail profile and vehicle traffic frequency are low and you don’t have small radius curves, than use ECC. ECC rail fastening system has been developed upon the idea of a continuous leaning of a rail against elastic medium to avoid the “PIN-PIN” frequency, thereby reducing the occurrence of rail corrugation. The rail is coated with elastomer up to its upper edge which, considering relatively large quantity of elastomer in the profile and its ability to transform vibration into heat, ensures high degree of reduction of harmful vibrations transfer to the environment, As elastomer we use two-component polyurethanic, elastic glue, with or without filler material based on cork particles. The fastening system is not demountable! ECC is distinguished for the following advantages:
• Excellent reduction of harmful vibrations transmission to the surroundings. • Reduction of force transmission from the rails to the concrete foundation. • Excellent positioning of the track ECC rail fastening is possible to apply with a normal grooved rail and filler blocks (1) or with low-profile grooved rail without filler blocks (2). |
